to provide a full range of online-based survey services.
Clients work directly with a CSS research manager, a specialist
in online research methodologies, to translate their research

Quantitative Online Surveys
As specialists in online research, CSS knows what works online.
CSS ensures that questionnaires are easy for respondents to
answer and are designed to provide meaningful results. Because
the CSS technical team custom designs each of its online questionnaires,
CSS can implement complex logic and incorporate images (such
as advertisements, logos or product photos) in order to best
address client objectives.
CSS provides advice and assistance at every stage of the
research process: from providing consultation on the design
of the survey and ensuring the seamless collection of data
online, to the analysis of results using advanced statistical
techniques and the preparation of the final report.
CSS implements advanced online methodologies and uses sophisticated
analytical techniques in order to address clients' key business
issues. CSS recruits targeted respondents using the comScore
panel, e-mail lists, pop-up surveys on client Web sites using
its SiteRecruit product, or by employing its powerful Domain
Departure tool, which captures visitor behavior on a client's
Web site, and then asks the respondent to complete a tailor-made
questionnaire based on the visitor's behavior on the site
as they depart. CSS's insightful and actionable information
helps clients address a wide variety of business issues, including:
- Customer satisfaction with products, services and Web
sites
- Product concept testing
- Packaging and logo evaluation
- Brand image and brand positioning
- Communications and advertising research
- Customer Segmentation
- Pricing
- Employee satisfaction
Online Focus Groups - FocusSite
CSS's unique qualitative online methodology, the FocusSite,
is a proprietary method for holding an in-depth discussion
among 25 or more participants over an extended period of time.
This extended time period allows respondents to react to,
and build upon each other's ideas in a way that is often not
possible during a typical two-hour offline focus group session.
The FocusSite methodology also allows respondents to perform
tasks (such as examining new Web sites or evaluating advertisements)
and provide reactions and evaluations.
The FocusSite methodology enables participants to view text,
graphics, sounds/ jingles, video or multimedia for evaluation
and testing. Unlike traditional focus groups, FocusSite is
not subject to geographic restrictions; people from multiple
regions can participate simultaneously. Additionally, complete
session transcripts are available immediately upon completion
of the group, making FocusSite an ideal research method for
providing timely qualitative insights.
